We stopped by Joey’s Bagels on a Saturday around 8:00 a.m. for our first visit. We were greeted right away, and service was almost too quick because we hadn’t had a chance to look over the menu yet. We ordered a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, two Lumberjacks (one with bacon on a garlic bagel with no honey or aioli, and one with sausage on an Asiago bagel with honey and aioli), a coffee, a cinnamon roll, and a chocolate croissant. Our food came out in about 10 minutes. The restaurant itself was clean with plenty of seating, a fun mural, and a nice selection of bagel-related books that helped keep our toddler entertained while we waited. Unfortunately, once we got back to the car, we realized our blueberry bagel had been left out of the order. When I went back inside, the employee who had taken our order seemed a little confused about handing over the bagel that had already been made. The staff preparing food were also deep in conversation, and after standing at the pickup counter for a bit without being acknowledged, I finally had to interrupt to ask for our missing item. The order accuracy was also disappointing. Both Lumberjacks came on the wrong bagels and neither include

I think Joey’s bagels are great! They are chewy and delicious and they serve my favorites — pumpernickel and egg bagels. Employees were all very good, but I especially appreciated Ashley’s demeanor with customers. She was so kind and eager to serve. She told me she had worked in the bakery industry for 30 years and it showed. She was a treasure and made our experience even better.

Service: I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. Once we sat down to wait for our food, I checked the receipt and it said egg and cheese with cream cheese on it…. Not anything what I ordered. Before they gave us the food order my bf corrected them and said she ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. We get the food and I check it before we left, I got a bacon and egg on a bagel with the cream cheese smeared off of it. I almost left with that had it not been my bf to go back in and get the right order the third time. I usually don’t like complaining twice about an order being wrong, but we were getting ready to take a road trip back home and I knew I would have not finished all the food. I’m thankful it came out the right way, but for it to take three times to get it right was a bit frustrating. Food: The bagel itself was pretty okay, average at best. It kinda reminded me a bit of Einstein Bagels. I saw many of the reviews saying it’s closest thing to a NY-style bagel. I’m from NYC and had a lot of bagels in my life… it’s not super close to one but I’m not mad at it. It had a crispy texture on the outside and a fluffy inside. The size of the bagel was pretty average, a

Bagel seemed on the smaller size, but what it lacked in size it made up for in flavor. The everything bagel was absolutely delicious. Even better is they offer vegan cream cheese (violife). Although I prefer the consistency and flavor of Tofutti vegan cream cheese, the violife was good with the tastiness of the everything bagel seasoning. $4.27 total for the bagel plus vegan cream cheese. Will definitely go again.

Incredible bagel sandwiches. I got the regular Joey on a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and WOW! I could eat this everyday. My husband got the hungry man sub but on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and he was blown away. Best bagel sandwiches we’ve ever had!
